6th June - Santa Clara -> Morro Bay
The first day of our journey. Leaving Sabine and Charly in Santa Clara and choosing the now infamous route 9, we passed though Big Basin national park, stopping to look at the Giant Sequoia Redwoods. On through Santa Cruz and Carmel-By-The-Sea, along the West Coast highway, Route 1, we arrived at Morro Bay. The Pacific Ocean coastline is spectacular.
