Hamish and Zsuzsi - SFO 2 IAH: 9th June - Death Valley Junction -> Las Vegas

As Las Vegas is not such a long drive today we stayed in Death Valley to for the morning. From Dante's Peak we were able to see along the full valley below. From there we moved to the salt flats of Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the US, the Natural Bridge and Artists Road. Once again, hot really doesn't do it justice and the strong wind doesn't seem to be any less warm. In the afternoon we moved on to Vegas. We're so tired we're just going to bed as everyone else is venturing out.
